Indonesia: Spiritual leader of Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) gets reduced sentence

Murad Makhmudov and Lee Jay Walker

Modern Tokyo Times

The radical Sunni Islamic cleric, Abu Bakar Ba’asyir, who is the spiritual leader of Jemaah Islamiyah, will feel relieved after his sentence was reduced from 15 years to 9 years. Ba’asyir will be hoping that a further appeal will also work in his favor and this crafty spiritual leader is not one to underestimate because in the past he overcame many obstacles.

In March this year he received a 15 year sentence for allegedly supporting radical Sunni Islamists in Aceh. According to the court decision Islamists in Aceh were intent on spreading a violent campaign in order to see the implementation of Sharia Islamic law. However, just like in the past, Ba’asyir denies all charges of inciting hatred and encouraging Sunni Islamic terrorism.

Indonesia is the largest mainly Muslim nation in the world in terms of population but not everything is what it appears.  This applies to the rapid growth of Christianity which is between 10% and 13% of the population according to various statistics. The official line was that Christianity was just below 10% over a decade ago but more “closet Christians” are coming out because of the growing strength of Christianity in many parts of Indonesia.

Ba’asyir and many conservative and radical Muslims are concerned about this. Therefore, one way to stem the tide and to clampdown on the Christian faith is to introduce Islamic Sharia law and then Muslim apostates would face the death penalty.

However, mainstream Islam in Indonesia is more moderate and many Muslims support a secular notion and that all Indonesians are equal. Yet, in recent times money from nations like Saudi Arabia began to spread the message of conservative Islam and you have had many attacks against Christians and Ahmaddiya Muslims.

Ba’asyir was born in 1938 and during his lifetime you have had many political changes and the gradual growth of conservative Islam meant that more people were open to his thinking. Also, Sunni Islamic funding from conservative nations in the Gulf meant that new opportunities and funding became available for religious leaders, individuals, and radical organizations.

Ba’asyir and Abdullah Sungkar opened a boarding school in 1972 in order to preach to the next generation about the need to implement Islamic Sharia law in Indonesia. In time both individuals would flee to Malaysia because the Suharto regime was in no mood to bow down to Islamists.

In 1999 Ba’asyir returned to Indonesia and clearly he and Sungkar had gained from their exile in Malaysia. This applies to meeting leading Islamists and learning a more composed way of spreading radical Sunni Islam.

Ba’asyir and Sungkar both became involved (some say founded but Ba’asyir plays with words) with Jemaah Islamiyah (JI) which was a lose patchwork of various radical Islamic organizations. The main goal was to create a super-Islamic state which would incorporate Indonesia, Malaysia, the southern Philippines, Brunei, and Singapore (some Islamists would also include southern Thailand and Cambodia).

The vastness of this region and the mass complexity is a wonder to behold, however, in the wrong hands it could become a nightmare. After all, you have a very diverse mix of ethnic and religious groups and you already have religious bouts of violence between Christians and Muslims in parts of Indonesia and the southern Philippines. More recently, tensions have erupted between Muslims and Buddhists in southern Thailand. Also, passions often run high in Malaysia which is the most diverse nation in the region when it comes to religion and the Shia faith is illegal in so-called moderate Malaysia.

Ba’asyir can’t be ignored or brushed aside so easily because JI have been involved in many terrorist attacks and have embroiled themselves in communal violence against Christians. Also, when tensions were at their highest many years ago between Christians and Muslims, you had many Sunni Islamic organizations like JI and Laskar Jihad who supported jihad. More alarming, he often plays around with words and distances himself when needed. Therefore, Ba’asyir and terrorist organizations like Laskar Jihad (Laskar Jihad disbanded but was used by elements of the military in West Papua and can be formed easily via many fronts) can melt away from the scene and then come back either through a new organization or during times of severe tensions.

Walid Phares, author of “The War of Ideas: Jihadism against Democracy” and other books, stated “We all know that the process to become a Jihadist, is long and tenuous. It needs a Salafi-Wahabi environment to be produced. The question in Indonesia is this: Who is producing the “ideological culture” out of which Jama’ah Islamiah came from? What are the structural webs that produced Laskar Mujahidin (or Laskar e Jihad), or Laskar Jundullah or even the Sulawesi-based Mujahedeen KOMPAK?”

Walid Phares sums up this complexity by stating that “…the Jihadi “Laskars” around the archipelago are projecting themselves as the “protectors” of the territorial unity of “Muslim Indonesia.” Hence their action against non-Muslims, including in Poso, the Celebes, etc is projected as “in the interest of the nation.” They are trying to emulate Hassan Turabi’s strategy in Sudan: the defense of Islam’s lands.”

These comments by Walid Phares were stated several years ago and many radical Sunni Islamic organizations change their operational styles or disband and then come back under a different name.  This game is also part and parcel of Ba’asyir

Given this, JI moved easily between supporting Muslims during communal violence against Christians in Maluku and Poso in Indonesia; and then to targeting economic and Western interests throughout the region. At the same time you had inter-links between JI, Al-Qaeda, MILF (Moro Islamic Liberation Front), Abu Sayyaf and other Islamic organizations.

However, it must be stated that JI isn’t on the same wavelength when it applies to Abu Sayyaf and what is termed Al-Qaeda. Also, MILF in the Philippines is much more moderate, despite being deadly, than Al-Qaeda/Abu Sayyaf and clearly their focus is on their homeland and powerbase.  International Sunni Islamic jihad is not on the agenda of all Islamists and JI works within “a means to an end” but not on the inter-Muslim bloodletting of Al-Qaeda.

This is not meant to downplay JI because they have been responsible for many deadly deeds and this applies to killing 15 people in 2000 after an attack against the Jakarta Stock Exchange. Also, in the same year many Christians were killed during Christmas Eve bombing in Indonesia. They have also spread their terror to the Philippines with several attacks and an attack was thwarted in Singapore by intelligence agents. Other notable attacks apply to the 2002 Bali bombings and two hotels were attacked in Jakarta in 2009.

Returning back to Ba’asyir he stated in 2002 that “If non-believers have weapons capacity, the funding, then they will go to war against Islam. In the Koran Allah has said they will always wage war against you, they will always attack you as long as they have the capacity.” He further stated that “The government of Indonesia right now is being directed by America to service its needs and the primary need of America is to bury Islam particularly in Indonesia.”

Ba’asyir also stated “…Hence our religion Islam, our nation and our country is currently being threatened by foreign races with all manner of libels, with the bombings in Bali, with explosions everywhere, all of those are the plots of non-believers whose aims are to weaken and profane the believers of Islam.”

Therefore, Ba’asyir is somehow trying to claim that the Bali bombings were done by non-Muslims and this is similar to the September 11th conspiracy theory. However, this is clearly ridiculous and Osama Bin Laden and other brutal killers don’t play the “conspiracy game” when it comes to denial.  In many ways JI is much more dangerous than Al-Qaeda when it comes to a lasting legacy, ideology, and patience.

Irrespective if the organization JI exists in name isn’t important because the ideology will remain within another organization. Also, Indonesia is a very powerful nation when it comes to geopolitics and the future of this nation will influence the religious pluralism of the entire region.

On page 166 and 167 of Zachary Abuza’s book called Militant Islam in Southeast Asia, Crucible of Terror. Zachary Abuza comments that “Although Abu Bakar Ba’asyir was named by both Malaysia and Singapore as a prime suspect and a leader of Jemaah Islamiya network, he continued to live and preach openly until October 2002.” He also told Zachary Abuza personally that “I am not a member of Al-Qaida, but I really respect the struggle of Osama Bin Laden, who has bravely represented the world’s Muslims in their fight against the arrogant United States of America and their allies.”

Yet what logic can be found in these words by Ba’asyir? After all, Al-Qaeda and the Taliban were involved in the massacres of thousands of Shia Muslims in Afghanistan. This was followed by countless numbers of terrorist attacks against Shia Muslims and other non-Sunni’s in Iraq; and of course innocent Sunni Muslims have been killed by radical Sunni Islamists in many nations.

Islamic radicalism is a serious threat in Indonesia and in many other nations. However, Ba’asyir is not your usual radical Sunni Islamist leader because he is cunning and manipulates language when it suits. Therefore, it is very difficult for the authorities in Indonesia to pin Ba’asyir and not only this, he does have connections even if the trail leads to dust.

The saga will go on and Ba’asyir will continue to be loved by his supporters and hated by individuals who support religious pluralism. Whatever happens, it is doubtful that Ba’asyir will settle for his reduced sentence and it is also doubtful that he will reject Islamic jihad and terrorism within his heart.

However, the Aceh affair does remain open to interpretation because Ba’asyir isn’t foolish nor naïve and if he believed that he would be held accountable – then the Ba’asyir that most people know, is an individual who likes to cover his angles.

Buddha, Jesus and Mohammed: prophets of peace to slavery, jihad and Sharia

Buddha, Jesus and Mohammed: prophets of peace to slavery, jihad and Sharia

Lee Jay Walker

Modern Tokyo Times

Banu Qurayza were followers of Judaism and were beheaded
during the reign of Mohammed
—————————————————–

The revamping of Mohammed throughout the world continues because of Islamic kitman but what is mystifying is that non-Muslim religious leaders, secularists and liberals appear to be giving the Islamic faith a helping hand.  Therefore, it is essential to get to the heart of Islam and see the reality of what happened under Mohammed.

If Buddha and Jesus were alive today then clearly they would not break any laws in democratic nations because they taught peace and supported the poor by their actions and deeds. Therefore, while people in modern societies may reject their different messages, it is abundantly clear that both individuals never killed, never supported war and nor did they support power and authority.

However, the prophet of Islam is very different and it is over simplistic to claim that he was a man of his time, after all, he is meant to be a holy religious leader and both Buddha and Jesus go further back in history.  Yet Mohammed married more than nine women at the same time, supported killing apostates, married a child, had sex with female slave concubines, and ordered the killing of many people by his concept of jihad and dhimmitude.

Not only this, but unlike the holy scriptures of the Christians and the New Testament or Buddhists and their holy scriptures based on what Buddha preached; then Mohammed is clearly obsessed by war, jihad, enslaving his enemies, jizya and other violent deeds.

Also, Mohammed, unlike Buddha and Jesus, is extremely contradictory and it appears that his thinking was based on power concentration.  In the early period when he was weak he was more open-minded but once he obtained power then he was ruthless and he implanted ideas which were brutal towards non-Muslims.

Therefore, while Buddha and Jesus did not seek power concentration, enforcing laws on their enemies, developing military armies and implementing a draconian legal system in order to preserve power; the same can’t be said about Mohammed because he was driven by power concentration policies and taxing the dhimmis (non-Muslims) or enslaving them if they did not accept the superiority of Islam.

The Buddha rejected the caste system and Jesus went to the lepers and outcasts in society.  It is clear that they were against discrimination and the victimization of others and their respective message was based on humanity and turning away from power concentration and enforcing laws on people who were already downtrodden.

Mohammed, however, was very different because if people accepted Islam then he also cared for the poor within his followers and he told people to give one sixth of their income to the poor.  However, it was non-Muslims who would be taxed heavily in order to redistribute their wealth and give it to the new masters. Therefore, some Muslim political leaders were also concerned by mass conversions once a political system based on Islam had been set up because this reduced their fiscal power.

After all, they faced the contradictions of an Islamic state which wanted Islamization but understood that the dhimmis tax was much needed.  Not surprisingly, the revenue of an Islamic state suffered by mass conversions and for this reason Islamic slavery was ongoing from the 7th century and up until recent times.

It must be remembered that it was only outside pressure which forced Saudi Arabia to abolish slavery in the 1960s.  Unlike the anti-slavery movement which emerged within the Christian world of its day you never had a Muslim anti-slavery movement and this was because of the static nature of nations which had become Islamized.

In time they lost their taxation power because Islamic law and Islamic zealots desired Islamization and once the coffers of the dhimmis had dwindled because of religious discrimination, pogroms and apartheid laws – then the last option was enslaving non-Muslims outside of their control. This factor meant that Islamic armies entered into Africa, other parts of Asia and Europe became a House of War was declared. Therefore, Islamic rulers would expand their power based on jihad, enslaving the people of their newly expanding state and so forth.

Also, Mohammed during his lifetime enslaved people who were free during numerous wars and clearly he had no qualms in taking wives or concubines from men he had killed.  Not only this, he also supported Muslim armies to enslave non-Muslims and he gave Muslims the right to take non-Muslim females and use them for sex during jihad.

Ironically, all the negatives about Mohammed are stated clearly in the Koran and the Hadiths.  Therefore, when people talk about anti-Islamic writers it is strange because the sources of what happened and the evil deeds of Islam are documented openly in the Hadiths and Koran.

Buddha and Jesus were revolutionary because they challenged the conventions of the day and they did this by spreading messages of peace and inner-purification.  However, Mohammed who had been faithful to his first partner then appears to have gone the wrong way because after her death he lusted after more women, concubines and even married a child.

However, why didn’t Muslims hide all the negatives of Mohammed and this even applies to visiting a Muslim place of worship in Jerusalem on an animal which does not exist and all at the speed of light.  Yet, it is factual that the mystical night journey never happened because at the time you had no mosque in Jerusalem and even his loyal followers found it difficult to accept.

Despite this, they remained loyal to Mohammed and ignored the fact that Allah allowed him more than 4 wives and having sexual concubines.  However, for other Muslims they were bound to take no more than 4 wives according to Islamic Sharia law but history tells us that many Muslim rulers had countless numbers of women in harems and so forth.

Of course you can find dark passages in all religious books if you desire or people can manipulate language or different meanings.  However, religions throughout history have reformed themselves and modernized and by doing this they have rejected the harshness of aspects of some of their teachings and accepted religious freedom.

This does not apply to Islam and the more a nation is ruled by Islamic Sharia law then the more brutal the nation happens to be.  In the modern world only Islamic states still support killing apostates, killing homosexuals, cross amputation, apartheid marriage laws which both discriminate against women and non-Muslims, and other draconian factors like stoning to death for adultery and allowing old men to marry children.

In my article called Prophet Mohammed, the Banu Qurayza, Kashmir, and Mansuur Mohammed I highlight many disturbing realities.  Therefore, I comment that “…the Banu Qurayza tribe who followed Judaism and the Muslim convert to Christianity in Somalia in modern times, Mansuur Mohammed; represent the reality and barbarity of Islam and the same applies to the destruction of Hinduism in Kashmir.  In these three events, we can see what happened to ancient Christianity in Nubia, what awaited the Zoroastrians of Persia, what awaited the fate of Buddhists and Hindus in Afghanistan, and what awaited so many other faiths by the sword of Islam.”

I continued in this article by referring to the Banu Qurayza tribe and stated that Matthias Kuntzel, the author of Jihad and Jew-hatred: Islamism, Nazism and the roots of 9/11 comments on page 65 that “In 627 the Qurayza tribe was exterminated following a siege of Medina by the Meccans.  Mohammed went to the marketplace in Medina and had graves dug there.  Then the Jews were brought to him and beheaded at the gravesides – between 600 and 900 men in all.  The executions lasted the whole day…..Most of the women and children were sold into slavery in Medina, the remainder in Syria and Najad.”  (Johan Bouman, op. cit., p.86)

This reality can’t be ignored and I commented in the same article that “…..the prophet of Islam supported the entire massacre of all Jewish males who followed the religion of Judaism and who were over puberty. Mohammed just sat back and watched this gruesome act and did nothing, apart from divide the spoils afterwards.  This barbaric act took place under the rule of Mohammed in the 7th century and in this sense the beheading of Muslim apostates to Christianity in Somalia can be linked to the deeds of Mohammed.”

“Given this, Mansuur Mohammed who was beheaded in Somalia for being an apostate in the 21st century, joins the Islam of Mohammed and the 7th century because he met the same barbaric fate.   Koranic prayers would have been recited while beheading the Banu Qurayza and the same applies to the al-Shabaab (al-Shabab) in Somalia who were reciting the Koran and shouting in joy while cutting the head off a Christian convert.”

“Mohammed clearly approved of the entire slaughter of all Jewish males over puberty who belonged to the Banu Qurayza and he just sat back and watched the beheadings, one after one, into the hundreds, and eventually every Jewish male over puberty was killed for remaining loyal to Judaism.”

“The mind of Mohammed was clearly violent because at no time did he try to stop his followers from doing this brutal crime.  In direct contrast to Jesus who stopped the prostitute from being killed by stoning to death we have the prophet of Islam who endorses such barbaric methods.  Mohammed not only watched this brutal genocide of all male followers of Judaism over puberty who belonged to the Banu Qurayza; for this was not enough because he also enslaved the Jewish women and children of this tribe and plundered all their wealth which was to be shared by the victorious Muslims.”

“Mohammed now “set in stone the brutality of Islam” and this applies to jihad, dhimmitude, jizya, killing apostates, stoning people to death for adultery (despite doing adultery himself), plundering the wealth of the vanquished and enabling the forces of evil to kill in the name of God.”

Again, I repeat once more that all this violence was endorsed by Mohammed and is documented by Islamic scholars. Therefore, the Hadiths and Koran provides this information openly despite some English versions of the Koran being manipulated in order to soften the hatred which is espoused in parts of the Koran.  Ironically, the same Koran never says anything negative about Jesus and on the contrary the Koran shows Jesus in a much more favorable light than Mohammed.

It is also clear that the mindset of Islamists and Mohammed are the same because jihad is implied many times in the Koran and in the Hadiths.  Therefore, how can you associate peace with Mohammed after the reality of what happened to the Banu Qurayza and the fact that he enslaved, supported and did jihad, took slave concubines, and implemented a system based on utter fear for non-Muslims because they would face persecution if they spoke out openly.

Religion can be abused by individuals, ethnic groups, political leaders and so forth and throughout history many brutal deeds have been done under the name of every religion or radical ideology.  However, Karl Marx did not support killing individuals and he can’t be blamed for the deeds of Stalin and others.

The same applies to dark periods within the Buddhist and Christian world where evil was justified by using and abusing the words of both individuals who supported peace.

However, “the heart of Mohammed was dark” and the reality of what happened to the Banu Qurayza can’t be ignored.  The same applies to his teachings because you have no Islamic reformation.

On the contrary, since the rise of Mohammed and continuing in modern day Saudi Arabia, you have no change and all apostates face the death penalty.  Therefore, the pluralistic reality of Arabia was destroyed by Mohammed and once he obtained power all religions would be annihilated in Arabia in a short period of time because his early followers would continue the Islamic inquisition.

Therefore, in the land of Mecca and Medina not one Buddhist temple or Christian church is allowed and all Muslim apostates face the death penalty.  Also, brutal laws which support cross amputation and allowing old men to marry young children are still ongoing in Saudi Arabia and this is all based on the life of Mohammed.

Leaders in democratic societies can ignore history, Islamic sources which support hatred of non-Muslims and the ongoing living history of Islam whereby non-Muslims face Islamization in Kashmir, Pakistan, southern Thailand and in other parts of the world in the 21st century.

Mohammed once he obtained power carried the sword and the same sword and Islamic legal system is crushing non-Muslims in the modern world. The sword of Islam is still killing and persecuting where the faith is either fighting another faith or desires to maintain an Islamic inquisition whereby every apostate faces death.

At the same time Islamic kitman and stealth jihad remains potent and history and the modern world tells us many things. However, the political correct brigade and moral relativism, alongside non-Muslim religious leaders and political leaders who are bending over backwards, is extremely worrying because Islamists and Islamic kitman leaders only dream about usurping power from within.

Buddha and Jesus spread new thinking and ideas and people can freely rebuke or not care about either.  After all, it is your democratic right to reject all religion.  However, apostates in “the Islamic heart of the Islamic world” face death and prison and these two competing thought patterns are not compatible in any period of history.

Either the democratic world stands up for what is right and this applies to the civil liberties of others or it can embolden an encroaching Islam by allowing Islamic kitman and stealth jihad.  This is a deadly game and democracy and Marxism could not co-operate in a pluralistic society based on freedom and obviously democracy and Nazism were ideological enemies; therefore, the last barrier is Islamism and Sharia in its entirety but do democratic leaders and other institutions have the moral decency to speak out against the draconian reality of political Islam?

Islamic liberalism is a million times more dangerous than radical Islam

Islamic liberalism is a million times more dangerous than radical Islam

Lee Jay Walker

Global Security News

The biggest threat to all civilizations is Islamic liberalism because Islamic liberals fully understand Islamic history but like the deceivers they are; they still desire to Islamize but by Islamic dawah, stealth jihad, and Islamic kitman.

Osama bin Laden supported killing apostates, Islamic jihad, Islamic Sharia law, killing homosexuals, child marriage, stoning women to death for adultery, enslaving non-Muslims during jihad, and he believed that Muslim men would go to heaven and meet virgins after killing infidels.

The Islam of Osama bin Laden was based on Mohammed, the Koran, Hadiths and Islamic Sharia law.  All the above in the previous paragraph was sanctioned by Mohammed and Mohammed himself married a child and ordered the killings of non-Muslims in the name of Allah.

Islamic liberal organizations like Muslim Bridges (http://muslimbridges.org) in America are openly spreading Islam despite claiming to build bridges.  You only have to check their website to note that they visit Christian churches and teach people how to pray to Allah and how Islam is based on love and peace.

Of course, these liberal kitman Muslims know full well that apostates are killed in Islamic nations based on Sharia Islamic law.  Therefore, Muslim converts to other religions face the death penalty in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, the Maldives, and Yemen.

However, the kitman liberal Muslims will state that Mohammed means peace and that Islam means love and humility.  Somehow killing apostates, stoning to death, cross amputation, child marriage (child rape and still sanctioned in Saudi Arabia), stoning to death for adultery, enslaving during jihad and so on; all this means “peace” in the minds of kitman loving liberal Muslims who love to spread Islamic dawah by stating complete lies.

Muslim Bridges also plays the race card and states how ethnicity is not important in Islam and so forth. This organization praises the fact that mixed marriages can be seen openly in Mecca and all because of the greatness of Allah.

Strange because slavery was not abolished until the 1960s in the lands of Mecca and Medina and this only happened because of external pressure by non-Muslim nations.  Also, in modern day Mauritania and Sudan it is clear that black Africans are treated with disdain and that slavery is a constant threat.

Another point which Islamic liberals gloss over is the fact that non-Muslim men face the death penalty in Saudi Arabia for marrying a Muslim female.  Yes, for an act of love the reality of Islam in accordance to Islamic Sharia law means death in the lands of Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, the Maldives, Yemen and a few other nations.

Of course the liberal media machine, the United Nations and political leaders in the West desire to ignore this reality.  After all, the non-Muslim world must show its fairness while Islamists kill Buddhists in southern Thailand and marry non-Muslims freely and without any hindrance.

It seems that Islamic fanatics and Islamic liberals can’t lose because either way it is a win-win situation.  Therefore, the Muslim population keeps on growing in India and the United Kingdom and at the same time the Hindu population faces complete annihilation in Pakistan and the same fate awaits the Christian community in Iraq.

If you magnify organizations and individuals like Muslim Bridges then it is abundantly clear that liberal Islam is the real threat to non-Muslim nations.   Also, liberals in the West and India are bending over backwards in order to allow this lie to spread despite Islamic sources in the Koran and the Hadiths which state the opposite.

Therefore, for every non-Muslim who is converted to radical Islam in mainly non-Muslim nations, you will have another 99 who are converted to liberal Islamic kitman, whereby Islamic dawah openly enabled lies to be told in order to spread the faith.

The madness of these Islamic liberals is much worse than individuals like Osama bin Laden who fully understood the reality of Islam.

After all, if you look at Afghanistan then firstly liberal Islam was spread along with the Sufi deceivers who are dangerous because they first went out and converted in the name of deceit and lies.

Once the faith spread and Islam grew in power then Buddhism, Hinduism and all non-Muslim faiths in Afghanistan were doomed to slavery and the Islamic inquisition.

In time Islamization would take place in Afghanistan and all Buddhists and Hindus faced the sword of Islam.  After this, the various thought patterns in Islam were seen to be problematic because past culture remained therefore the Sunni Islamic Taliban emerged and now it was the turn of Shia Muslims and other non-Sunni branches to face the wrath of pure Sunni Islamization.

Liberal Muslims are the real threat because Islamic armies can no longer invade the majority of non-Muslim nations.  Therefore, Saudi Arabia and others are spreading Islam via Islamic dawah, deceit and open lies in order to Islamize.

It is vital that non-Muslim religious leaders and politicians don’t fall into this trap and the truth about Mohammed, slavery in Islam, child marriage, and so forth; must be told to the masses in order to fight stealth jihad and liberal Islam.

Islamic fanatics like Osama bin Laden only wake people up to the real hatred of Islamic dogma.  However, the television version of Malcolm X who supported the slave owning Mohammed is the real threat alongside organizations like Muslim Bridges.

This is based on the reality that Islam is being revamped in the mainly non-Muslim world in order to Islamize and Islamic liberals, Islamic kitman and stealth jihad is a trinity which is much more powerful than Islamic terrorism.

In nations where non-Muslim minorities are small they face the sword of Islam and in modern day Somalia the Islamic inquisition is in full swing and many Christians have been beheaded and killed in gruesome ways.  The same barbarity is being unleashed against Buddhists in southern Thailand and against minorities in a host of other nations.

However, in the non-Muslim world the threat is liberal Islam, stealth jihad and Islamic kitman. This threat is magnified by the “enemy from within” and many universities, the mass media, Western politicians and liberal non-Muslim religious leaders are bending over backwards in order to accommodate the Islamic faith.

Yet history tells us that Islam cares little about accommodation and the Islamization of Kashmir, Kosovo, Pakistan, Iraq, southern Thailand, and in other parts of the world, is ongoing in the twenty-first century.

Coptic Christians fear the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt

Coptic Christians fear the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt

Lee Jay Walker

The Modern Tokyo Times

Christians suffer persecution in Egypt.

Christians suffer persecution in Egypt

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is clearly hoping to install an Islamic state on the rubbles of the Hosni Mubarak regime.  The mass media in the West may focus on genuine factors behind current events in Egypt and some Egyptians may speak about democracy and liberty.  However, it is abundantly clear that Islamists in the Muslim Brotherhood desire an Islamic state and given their past history and ongoing political intrigues, then it is reasonable to expect an Islamic grab for power.

This raises serious questions for many in Egypt but the purpose of this article is to focus on the minority Christian community which is between eight to twelve million according to different statistics.  After all, the reality of the demise of Saddam Hussein in Iraq led to the complete marginalization and persecution of the Christian community and Christian numbers in Iraq have dropped dramatically because of constant persecution.

Therefore, despite the anti-Christian nature of the Mubarak regime the Christian community is faced with “the authoritarian leader they know” against “the devil leadership” which may take power in Egypt?

It is clear that the Coptic Christian community faces many genuine concerns because they suffer institutional discrimination in Egypt under Mubarak.  However, given the reality that democracy is not a flourishing concept within the majority of Muslim dominated nations then the worst must be feared.  This applies to an Islamic state under the Muslim Brotherhood whereby Islamic Sharia law is governed more tightly over Egyptian society rather than the pick and mix version under Mubarak.

Eli Avidar who is a former Israeli diplomat warns about the threat of the Muslim Brotherhood.  He does this by highlighting the reality of Hamas in Gaza.  After all, the elections ushered in Hamas and clearly this organization is not interested in power sharing or a pluralistic society based on different value systems and protected by the democratic ballot box.

Eli Avidar comments that “President (George W.) Bush and (Secretary of State) Condi Rice pressured the State of Israel to allow democratic elections in the Palestinian Authority and what happened was that Hamas took over and these were the first and last democratic elections.”

Therefore, history may repeat itself if the Muslim Brotherhood takes over the leverages of power.  Eli Avidar is clearly worried about this because he comments that “If they go and take the leadership because of democratic elections, I believe that democracy will not continue in Egypt because the fact is, the second that they take power, they will not leave it…”

It must be stated that the Iranian Revolution of 1979 ushered in an Islamic theocracy after the collapse of the Shah of Iran.  Democrats, Secularists, Marxists, Islamic socialists, socialists, and other forces, all believed that they would vie for power and that they could sideline Khomeinists and the conservative Shia clergy.

However, the Iranian Revolution became an Islamic Revolution after all opposition entities were silenced and it is clear that the Muslim Brotherhood is a potent organization within the body politic of Egyptian society.  Also, given the history of the Muslim Brotherhood then it would appear to be naive to expect them to sit on the sidelines because they have been waiting a long time to install an Islamic state.

Egypt, unlike Iran, does have a powerful religious minority because Coptic Christians number between eight and twelve million.  However, it is clear that Christian minorities and others have been crushed in Iraq since the American led invasion and if major persecution of Christians took place, just like in Iraq, then the world would just sit back and watch from a distance.  Therefore, the situation is very delicate for the Coptic Christian community and for all Christians in Egypt.

The Muslim Brotherhood clearly support an Islamic state and Mohammed himself stated “Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the latter day, nor do they prohibit what Allah and His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the tax in acknowledgment of superiority and they are in a state of subjection.” (Koran 9:29)

In my article called Muslims slaughter Christians in Egypt which was published in 2010, I comment that “The current situation in Egypt does not look good for Coptic Christians because the “flawed” political system under President Hosni Mubarak means state sanctioned discrimination. However, you also have the fear that radical Islamists could fill the political vacuum and this would add greatly to the woes of the embattled Christian community in Egypt.”

The sad reality is that Egypt under Mubarak is an Islamic dominated society whereby you have many laws which discriminate against the Christian community.  This applies to severe restrictions on building new Christian churches; mass prejudice in family law which always supports the Muslim spouse over the Christian spouse in divorce cases; educational discrimination which marginalizes the indigenous Christian faith; persecution of apostates from Islam to Christianity; and in many other areas of life and this applies to government and so forth.

However, an Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood would be even more dangerous because the Islamization of Egypt which was done more discreetly under Anwar Sadat and Mubarak would be much more open under the Muslim Brotherhood.  Therefore, the Christian community in Egypt is faced with the reality of discrimination and persecution under the current Mubarak regime or even greater Islamization of Egypt under the Muslim Brotherhood.  It is abundantly clear, that the situation is very tense for all Egyptians but notably for Christians because they suffer death and persecution under the current prevailing conditions but these prevailing conditions may get even worse if events turn out negatively and Islamists seize power.

Of course, nobody knows for sure how events will unfold and some people are optimistic that democracy and secularism may emerge victorious and that Egypt will flourish under a new leadership.

If this does happen then it will be a great day for all Egyptians irrespective if they are Christian, Muslim or follow no faith. An Egypt which utilizes the richness of Coptic Christian culture alongside the best of Egyptian society would clearly unleash enormous potential.  Therefore, Muslim moderates, Christians, liberals, socialists, and others, could all witness a new powerful nation whereby opportunities are provided to all nationals.

Yet the reality of Iraq and the ongoing persecution which is threatening this ancient Christian community is clear for all to see. Other religious minorities in Iraq are also suffering and the Mandaeans, Shabaks, and Yazidis, also reside in constant fear.  Therefore, all religious minorities are dwindling in Iraq because of the Islamic threat and clearly the reality of Islamic Sharia law means dhimmitude and marginalization.

It is clear that the political crisis in Egypt could go many ways and this applies to a new dynamic Egypt which becomes openly democratic and pluralistic.  However, just like the Iranian Revolution of 1979 and current events in Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein; it is clear that the darkness of Islam engulfed both nations.

This reality must be striking fear in the hearts of many Christians in Egypt because it is abundantly clear that the Muslim Brotherhood is a powerful force within Egyptian society.  Therefore, the current uncertainty in Egypt is a very dangerous period for the Christian community because you clearly have a political vacuum.  It is hoped that this political vacuum will be filled positively but given past history then the “Islamic shadow” may engulf the “candle of light” once more?

Sunni Islamists slit the throat of a Christian mother in Somalia

The Modern Tokyo Times

Islamic Sharia law in Somalia supports stoning to death, cross amputation, killing converts to Christianity and other barbaric ways.

Islamic Sharia law in Somalia supports stoning to death, cross amputation, killing converts to Christianity and other barbaric ways.

The reality of Islam in all its hatred can be seen in Afghanistan, the Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Yemen, and a few other nations, where converts from Islam face the death penalty.  In Somalia, the Sunni Islamic fanatics called the Al-Shabaab (Al-Shabab) have once more killed a convert to Christianity and in true style the soldiers of Islam held down a Christian lady and slit her throat in front of many villagers.  This hatred is clearly based on the teachings of Mohammed because he supported killing apostates and the ongoing Islamic inquisition continues in nations like Somalia.

Religious minorities in so many nations are facing the Islamic sword and often it is difficult to notice the difference between Islamic jihadists who slit the throats and behead innocents in order to appease Allah or national governments which support killing apostates.  After all, the Al-Shabaab in Somalia and the Taliban in Afghanistan support killing apostates and these groups are deemed to be Sunni Islamic fanatics. However, government elites and the legal system also support killing apostates in both Afghanistan and Somalia.  Therefore, it is difficult to notice the difference in some nations because Islamic hatred is being installed on all sides, irrespective if they are Sunni Islamic jihadists or national governments.

The same problem of religious intolerance and discrimination is factual within nations like Egypt where Coptic Christians suffer from institutional discrimination and in Pakistan it is clear that Ahmadiyya Muslims, Christians, Hindus, and Sikhs, reside in fear because of blasphemy laws and mass discrimination.

Therefore, on January 7th in 2011 the holy warriors of Islam captured a Christian mother of four and slaughtered her in front of many villagers in Warbhigly in Somalia.  Like usual the Koran holding individuals will have been shouting Allah Akbar while cutting the throat of Asha Mberwa.

The 36 year old Asha Mberwa was a mother of four and she had committed no crime and had harmed nobody.  However, Mohammed supported the killing of apostates therefore the Al-Shabaab killed the Muslim convert to Christianity in order to appease the Islamic god.

In true Islamic justice an innocent convert to Christianity was killed in cold blood and bystanders were forced to watch while her throat was being cut.  Her death, like so many other Christian martyrs in Somalia, is a witness to the reality of Islamic Sharia law and the brutal teachings of Mohammed.  Therefore, the Islamic inquisition is in full swing in Somalia and Christians are being hunted down and killed.

The reality of modern day Afghanistan and Somalia is the same reality which befell the Buddhists and Hindus of Afghanistan in history.  If we look at the modern Islamic inquisition in Somalia then we can imagine how Buddhism and Hinduism were destroyed in Afghanistan. Hindus also face complete annihilation in modern day Kashmir and the Hindu population in Pakistan is in freefall. The same applies to ongoing persecution in Bangladesh of Buddhists in the Chittagong Hill Tracts and Hindus throughout this nation.

It should also be noted that it is abundantly clear that many members of Al-Shabaab have been brought up in nations like America and the United Kingdom. Therefore, the multi-religious agenda of equality is clearly failing and Muslims who are joining Al-Shabaab in the West appear to have a different Koran to that of the liberals or appeasers of Islam.

However, the Koran of these Muslims is based on the real texts of Islam and they fully understand the Hadiths and all the quotes that justify killing apostates and enforcing Islamic Sharia law.

Al-Shabaab is being supplied with manpower both internally and externally and the terrorist attack in Uganda is clear evidence that this Islamic movement is intent on spreading Islam and terror to other nations.  Therefore, the Al-Shabaab is clearly causing concerns throughout the region. Also, returning Islamic jihadists to America, the United Kingdom, and other nations, may spread their terrorism and objectives because the Islamic terrorist conveyor belt is ongoing.

Steve Emerson, executive director of The Investigative Project on Terrorism, stated in his article called How al-Shabaab Target Western Youth, that At least six Americans have been killed after going to Somalia to join al-Shabaab. One of those was Shirwa Ahmed, who left Minnesota in December 2007. Ten months later Ahmed blew himself up, apparently becoming the first American citizen to carry out a suicide bombing. Another is Jamal Bana, 20, who in July was reported killed in Somalia. He was studying engineering at two Minneapolis schools when he disappeared in November 2008. Bana’s family said it learned of his fate when a photograph of his body appeared on a website. Burhan Hassan, 17, also disappeared from his Minneapolis home in the fall of 2008 and flew to Somalia to join al-Shabaab. He, too, was shot to death in June.”

Steve Emerson continues by stating that Thus far, Congress and the intelligence community have been reluctant to conclude that Americans who train with al-Shabaab could return and stage terrorist attacks in the United States or threaten American interests outside the Horn of Africa.”

“But Mudd, associate executive assistant director of the FBI’s National Security Branch, provided one significant caveat when asked how serious a problem the group is.”

This applies to Philip Mudd commenting that “I would talk in terms of tens of people, which sounds small but it’s significant, because every terrorist is somebody who can potentially throw a grenade into a shopping mall,” he said. Mudd added that information about the number of American recruits for al-Shabaab is “fuzzy” because “[t]here are thousands of people – thousands – going to the Horn of Africa every month. You can go to Kenya to look at game parks, and it’s hard for me to tell you if somebody’s going to a game park or going to Shabaab. So I am sure that there are people out there that we’re missing.”  (IPT NEWS – January 29, 2010)  http://www.investigativeproject.org/

Therefore, the ongoing Islamic inquisition in Somalia is being supported by Muslims who once resided in America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Sweden, and other nations. It is abundantly clear that Muslims or converts to Islam who have joined Al-Shabaab have rejected all notions of religious pluralism, democracy, and liberalism.  Instead, they have joined a Sunni Islamic group which supports killing all converts to Christianity, stoning women to death, chopping hands and feet off, and other crimes against humanity.

Asha Mberwa is the latest Christian martyr in Somalia to be killed by the followers of Islam who follow Islamic Sharia law, the teachings of the Koran and the Hadiths. This innocent Christian lady was killed by Muslims reciting the Koran and her death was slow and with the knowledge that the same Islamic fanatics would try to find her children and indoctrinate them.

It appears that the Christians of Somalia have been abandoned and if we look into the mirror then this Islamic inquisition is the same Islamic inquisition which befell the Buddhists and Hindus of Afghanistan in past history.  Sadly, the annihilation of non-Muslim faiths is still being allowed but this darkness is not only a tragedy and a crime against humanity; it will also encourage Islamic jihadists to spread their hatred to new nations.

Currently it appears that the “light” of Asha Mberwa and religious freedom is being allowed to be defeated by the forces of “Islamic darkness” which desires complete Islamization in Somalia.

Christian convert in Afghanistan faces the death penalty for apostasy

Islamic terrorists behead in the name of the Koran and Islamic nations like Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia support beheading apostates to Christianity

Islamic terrorists behead in the name of the Koran and Islamic nations like Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia support killing apostates to Christianity

Despite the vast numbers of international military forces in Afghanistan and huge economic support from Western nations, it is still a crime to leave the religion of Islam in Afghanistan.  Therefore, International Christian Concern (ICC) is trying to raise the awareness of this brutal reality and for Shoaib Assadullah he faces the threat of death or twenty years in prison within the following week.

It is abundantly clear that Afghanistan is not democratic and religious freedom and female emancipation is a million miles away.  In fact, it sometimes appears that the Taliban is still in power because little is being done to stop Islamic barbarity and people clearly reside in fear.

Therefore, Afghanistan is a clear failure and Islamic clerics, political leaders, the judiciary, and ordinary Muslims, support Islamic Sharia law and killing apostates and other draconian laws.  Given this, then what was all the Western aid spent on and how can you have a democratic and plural society when the rule of law is based on Islam?

Shoaib Assadullah is the reality of this failed policy because while Japan and Germany were forced to change after World War Two, it is clear that Islamic fascism is being given a free reign in Afghanistan.  Therefore, tax-payers money in the West is being spent on supporting a judicial system which supports killing converts to Christianity or any other non-Muslim faith in Afghanistan.

It is clear madness on the part of Western nations because it is obvious that Islam is the problem in Afghanistan and the power of Islam within the institutions of this nation needs to be eliminated and a secular based society must be encouraged.  After all, is it good enough to say that the people of Afghanistan do not deserve freedom and that Western nations must not encroach on the religion of Islam?

Therefore, for the “do nothing camp” they are supporting women being shackled by male Islamic leaders and for converts to Christianity to be killed by the Islamic sword. Let us not shy away from the reality of Islam in Afghanistan because it turned this once Buddhist/Hindu dominated nation into yet another “Islamic year zero” and for many Islamic leaders they even fear female education being equal with that of men.

Is it good enough to say that apostates, women, and homosexuals should be controlled by the sword of Islam and that the next generation in Afghanistan should continue to be victimized by the reality of Islam in this nation?

If you are concerned about human rights, the dignity of humanity, religious freedom, and for the shackles to be lifted then it is vital that people show their support for Shoaib Assadullah and others like him.  After all, if Shoaib Assadullah is allowed to be killed or put in prison for a very long time, then he of course is the “real victim” but when we look at the bigger picture the world is also a victim.

It is a case of “light” versus “Islamic tyranny” and Islamic fascism in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, the Maldives, Yemen, and other Islamic based societies where apostates face the death penalty, should shame all nations which tolerate this in the modern world.  What is the excuse?

ICC state that Shoaib Assadullah faces one week to renounce his faith.  If he does not, then he faces the death penalty and of course this was sanctioned by Mohammed and this should shame political and religious leaders who state that Islam means peace because it is obvious that the Islamic faith is based on violence and coercion.

Religious pluralism, liberty, and freedom does not enter the Islamic equation but stoning people to death, killing apostates, cross amputation, and so forth, does enter the reality of Islam. This reality is devouring innocent non-Muslims and apostates in many nations.  If the world remains silent then Shoaib Assadullah will become yet another victim.  Therefore, how can silence be “just” and how can the status quo be “excused” when killing in the name of Allah is sanctioned by the legal system of Islamic Sharia law?

Aidan Clay, ICC Regional Manager for the Middle East, said, “Shoaib Assadullah may be given a death sentence as early as tomorrow if the international community does not act quickly. If Assadullah is executed, his death will signify the failure of the United States and her allies to liberate Afghanistan from the radical ideals of the Taliban after investing millions of dollars to reform the country’s judicial system. We urge the international community to demand the immediate release of Assadullah and to hold Afghanistan accountable to its commitment to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.”

Therefore, it is up to individuals to campaign and support people like Shoaib Assadullah because he is on the frontline but the frontline will spread to other nations if it is not stopped in the Islamic world.  Indeed, many Islamists in the West and ordinary Muslims also support killing apostates and it is clear that the “liberal approach” is not working.

Also, Christian religious leaders have an obligation to inform people about the brutal reality of Islamic Sharia law and the same applies to political leaders in the free world.  After all, democracy at home is not based on human rights and until the reality of Islamic Sharia law is challenged, alongside political Islam and stealth jihad, then the world will be held to ransom by the forces of Islamic fascism.

If Shoaib Assadullah is killed or put in prison for a long time then this will be yet another dark day and the forces of darkness will see this to be yet another victory over humanity.

After all, Saudi Arabia and other Islamic nations and organizations are spreading the Islamic faith to non-Muslim nations but of course not one single Christian church or Buddhist temple is allowed in the land of Mecca and Medina.  It is clear that Islamists and nations like Saudi Arabia are dictating to the free world despite their draconian thinking which is based on the Koran, the Hadiths, and Islamic Sharia law.

Therefore, the free world needs to wake up because many followers of Islam desire to enforce the “chains of Islam” and the “sword of Islam” on both non-Muslims and apostates.  Silence or caving in is not the way to respond nor should false statements about Mohammed be allowed with regards to being a man of peace.

Shoaib Assadullah is a victim because of the teachings of Islam and the hate filled laws are based on what Mohammed supported and stated.  Leaders in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia, and other Islamic Sharia law based nations, are evil because they support killing apostates. Yet the ultimate evil belongs to Mohammed because innocent people are being killed in his name and it was he who supported this brutal reality.

Killing Christians in Somalia, burning Bibles in Pakistan and stealth jihad

Killing Christians in Somalia, burning Bibles in Pakistan and stealth jihad

Lee Jay Walker

The Modern Tokyo Times

Mansuur Mohammed a Christian convert was beheaded by Sunni Muslims who recited the Koran
Christian convert was beheaded by Sunni Muslims
in Somalia while they recited the Koran
————————————————————–

The mass media and the political correct are in a spin because they cry “Islamophobia” but in the real world it is the followers of Islam who are slaughtering Christians in Somalia and it is only the Islamic faith which continues to kill apostates.  Therefore, you had mass coverage about a pastor who was going to burn the Koran but you have a virtual silence about the annihilation of Christianity in Somalia and the burning of Bibles in Pakistan.

In truth, the Islamists are clearly winning the media war and the political correct, trendy left, and mass of liberals are at odds with what they believe in.  After all, the religion which supports the stoning to death of homosexuals and which enforces women to remain in the shadows is being mollycoddled by a plethora of “well meaning hypocrites.”  Therefore, it appears that killing Christians in Somalia is fine because we must not upset the religion of Islam and the same applies to burning Bibles in Pakistan.

It is striking by the amount of political pressure and media pressure which was put on one single pastor, who in truth had no political or religious power, but became a household name in order to show how evil parts of America are.  This suited the “Islamophobia” agenda and political leaders like President Obama joined the bandwagon and once more the religion of Islam became “the innocent victim.”

Yet what about the burning of Bibles in Pakistan or the ongoing witch-hunt in Somalia where the Sunni Islamic al-Shabaab (al-Shabab) desire to kill all Christians; does this count?  It would appear not because these problems are ongoing and just like the persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt or the continuing destruction of Christianity in Iraq ,you hear little about this in the mass media.

Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, President of Pakistan Christian Congress (PCC), condemned and rebuked the attack against the Nasri Pentecostal Church which took place on September 18th, 2010.

He stated thatThe Sindh government must adopt necessary security measures of Churches and bring accused before justice to those who burnt Holy Bibles and vandalized (the) Church in Shah Latif Town.”  Dr. Nazir S. Bhatti and fellow workers at the Pakistan Christian Post work around the clock (http://pakistanchristianpost.com) in order to highlight and campaign for all minorities in Pakistan.

Despite this, while the “trendy brigade” and “political correct” pat themselves on the back about supporting the Islamic faith and showing how tolerant “our Western societies are.”  They remain mainly silent about reports which highlight the rape of Christian females in Egypt and the forced conversion of these Christian females by their Muslim rapists.  Sadly the same brutal method of rape against Christian and Hindu females in Pakistan by Muslims is also a disturbing reality but you have no demonstrations nor is the mass media “sinking their teeth” into issues like this.

Therefore, we have a strange “mirror” which is being told by the majority of the mass media. On the one hand we are told that Islam means peace but we know that all apostates face death in Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, the Maldives, and a few other nations. Even in so-called moderate nations like Egypt, prison awaits the apostate from Islam and the family court system in Egypt clearly discriminates against all Christians in divorce cases involving children.

The sad reality is simple and it applies to the “dhimmis” bending over backwards in order to appease the Islamic agenda of stealth jihad.  After all, Muslims are free to build their mosques all over America, India, the United Kingdom, and in other democratic nations.

However, people do have genuine fears when they know that Christians have been burnt alive in Pakistan; Christian pastors have been beheaded in Nigeria; Hindu and Christian females have been raped in Pakistan; apostates to Christianity are being killed in Somalia; the Christian community in Iraq is under siege; Buddhists are killed and persecuted in southern Thailand; the Ahmadiyya suffer systematic persecution in Pakistan; the Baha’is reside in fear in Iran; and the list is endless.

Remember, all religions will have fanatics but the persecution of Christians in Somalia is being done by a mass terrorist organization called the al-Shabaab (al-Shabab) and the government of Somalia also supports discrimination because Islamic Sharia law supports the death of apostates.  The same applies to Pakistan because Ahmadiyya Muslims, Christians, and others, reside in fear because of the blasphemy law which is punishable by death in this nation.

Therefore, the media highlights one pastor in America and condemns him and the same applies to senior political leaders.  Yet we have silence when Christians are being beheaded while Muslims recite the Koran and shout “Allah Akbar” while killing someone in such a brutal way.

Given this, it is clear that systematic persecution in Muslim nations against all non-Muslims in societies like Saudi Arabia is tolerated. The same applies to this nation spreading Islam by funding Islamic mosques, Islamic colleges, Islamic newspapers, Islamic think tanks, and so forth, in order to further stealth jihad.

In the last 20 years we have witnessed the Islamization of the Chittagong Hill Tracts where tribals, the majority being Buddhist, have suffered mass Muslim migration from other parts of Bangladesh and systematic persecution.  The same process of Islamization took place in Kashmir because Hindus and other minorities were forced to flee and the same is happening in Kosovo against Orthodox Christianity and Buddhists in southern Thailand face the same fate.

These tragedies, and many others that I have not mentioned, are all part and parcel of Islamization.  After all, Islam is vibrant in India because this nation is secular and democratic but de-Hinduization is ongoing in Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Therefore, non-Muslims are faced with a “two-edged sword” and this applies to systematic persecution in the vast majority of all mainly Muslim nations.  At the same time, the Muslim population continues to grow in Western Europe, North America, and in nations like India because of democracy, liberal values towards religion, Islamic kitman, open-minded immigration policies, and massive funding from nations like Saudi Arabia.

It is abundantly clear that Saudi Arabia is determined to spread the Islamic faith irrespective if by militancy or by stealth jihad which is based on playing “the victim card” and reinventing Islam to suit the long-term agenda. Given this, the systematic persecution of Christians in Somalia and open discrimination in Pakistan is ignored because other factors are at play.

I stated in my article called Somalia and the reality of radical Islam that “….in modern day Somalia it is open season for killing Christians, killing Muslim apostates, and stoning people to death for adultery. Other draconian measures have also been implemented and chopping the hands off small time criminals is deemed to be a religious duty. Also, strict dress codes are getting even stricter and women have to remain in the shadows.”

I also stated in another article called Nigeria and Christian martyrs after several Christian pastors were beheaded by Islamic fanatics in Nigeria that “This madness will never end if appeasement is the answer or if political leaders like Obama, the President of America, make false statements about the real nature of aspects of Islam. I should also stress that “important and deadly facts about the Islamic faith are not being told.” However, Islamists are doing this carnage in the first place because of their deep knowledge of Islam and because killing apostates, forcing minorities into dhimmitude, and declaring jihad is all sanctioned by Mohammed and the Islamic faith.”

It is clear that in the modern world that many political elites, the mass media, major non-Muslim religious leaders, educational institutions, and so forth, alongside the political correct brigade, are playing into the hands of the Islamic agenda.

This agenda was laid down by Mohammed himself and it is part and parcel of Islam and organizations like the Muslim Brotherhood must be “washing their hands” at the naivety of many.  Therefore, the killing of Christians in Somalia is rarely mentioned and the same applies to the systematic persecution of Ahmadiyya Muslims, Christians, Hindus, Sikhs, and other minorities in Pakistan.

Until senior elites and religious leaders speak out against the brutality of Islamic Sharia law and the true message of Mohammed then little will change in the Muslim world.  However, what will change, is that the power of Islam will grow in Western Europe, North America, India, and other parts of the world and so many factors will enable this, including the betrayal and collective amnesia of the mass media and political elites who have their own agenda.

The persecution of Christians in Somalia and all religious minorities in Pakistan is also reaching closer to home.  After all, the London bombings and the Pakistan connection is clear for all to see and many Somali migrants in America have returned to Somalia in order to kill Christians and stone women to death for adultery.

The principle of secularism and liberalism is falling on deaf ears because Islamists have freedom to kill in distant lands like Somalia and Pakistan. While closer to home in nations like the UK and America they can indoctrinate and spread the message of hate and work alongside liberal Muslims because this dual agenda is about stealth jihad and Islamization at any cost.

Every time a Christian is killed in Somalia or when a Hindu woman or Christian woman is raped in Pakistan and this is met by global silence or indifference.  Then this is a victory for Islamists because they understand that “their brutality” is being met “by weakness or indifference.”

I am alarmed by the current reality of stealth jihad at home and systematic persecution of religious minorities and women in the mainly Muslim world.  It appears that the side of hate and slavery via dhimmitude and persecution is winning because of many factors.  Are you not alarmed?

ISLAMIC militants target Buddhists in Thailand

Islamic Militants Target Buddhists in Thailand

By Lee Jay Walker    -  THE SEOUL TIMES
Tokyo Correspondent

Islamic militants target Buddhists in Thailand

The Islamic insurgency in Southern Thailand is ongoing and political and military leaders in Thailand appear to be at a loss because of many internal political and economic convulsions. Yet it is clear that radical Islamists desire an independent state and this state is meant to be Muslim to the core, and all Buddhists are deemed to be expendable.

In Kashmir the Hindu minority was forced to flee because innocent civilians were targeted by Islamic jihadists and Serbian Orthodox Christians in Kosovo have witnessed the endless destruction of their Christian churches and culture.

A similar pattern can be seen because Buddhists face daily fears and gradual Islamization in the Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh. While recently three Christian pastors in Northern Nigeria were beheaded by Sunni Islamists because they refused to renounce Christianity.

Sadly, more harrowing stories can be stated about the burning alive of Christians in Pakistan by Sunni Islamists and the continuing persecution of all minorities. Therefore, Ahmadiyya Muslims face the sword of Sunni Islam because of conservative hatred in Pakistan and Baha’is in Iran face severe restrictions and bouts of false propaganda by central forces in Iran. At the same time Christians face either dhimmitude or pogroms in Iraq alongside other minorities like the Shabaks, Yazidis, and Mandaeans because radical Islamists threaten all minorities.

In Southern Thailand the current Islamic insurgency is following a similar pattern and this pattern is based on the beheading of Buddhists, killing innocent civilians, killing teachers, and spreading darkness throughout Southern Thailand.

Of course Islamists and others want to silence the mass media and many writers fear the shackles of editors or they are turning a blind eye because of political correctness.

Therefore, we have ridiculous media attention about discrimination against Muslims with regards to being checked at airports or being denied dress freedom in France. However, does this really compare with beheading Buddhists in Southern Thailand or burning Christians alive in Pakistan? Also, remember that this is done in the name of Islam because these Islamists want an Islamic monoculture where they kill or persecute non-Muslims first and then kill fellow Muslims, like killing Ahmadiyya Muslims, because they are not deemed to be Muslim enough.

Turning back to Thailand it is clear that Muslims in the south feel alienated from the central state and the economic infrastructure is weak. However, many Buddhists in Thailand also face economic hardship and grinding poverty in parts of this nation yet they do not go around beheading Muslim religious leaders.

If Thailand doesn’t do more to respond to daily intimidation and the ethnic cleansing of Buddhists in Southern Thailand then clearly the situation is going to get even worse. It is also important to point out that radical Sunni Islamists in Indonesia and the Philippines, alongside global jihadists, could join the fray if this crisis continues to follow the same path.

This hatred is inspired by Mohammed because he stated in the Hadiths to not only kill infidels (non-Muslims) but that Muslims will be rewarded for killing infidels.

Therefore Islamists follows the sayings of Mohammed and in Hadith 9:4 Mohammed stated “Wherever you find infidels kill them; for whoever kills them shall have reward on the Day of Resurrection.” Mohammed also stated in Hadith 9:50, 57 that “No umma (a member of the Muslim community) should be killed for killing a kafir (an infidel) … Whoever changes his Islamic religion, kill him.”

Therefore, Islamic jihadists in Afghanistan, Chechnya, Indonesia, Iraq, Pakistan, Thailand, or wherever, are directly following the teachings of Mohammed. Given this, Islamic radicalism in Thailand and other parts of the world is a serious issue because minorities are being killed by Islamic jihadists because of the fascist nature of this ideology.

Zachary Abuza, author of Militant Islam in Southeast Asia (Crucible of Terror), and a host of other written material, highlighted the role of the madrasas (Islamic schools).

He stated “In their pursuit of the creation of Islamic states, many Southeast Asian jihadis established Islamic schools to indoctrinate, propagate, and recruit. The leaders of many militant groups in Southeast Asia, including the Laskar Jihad, Kampulan Mujahidin Malaysia, and Jemaah Islamiya, returned from Afghanistan and established a network of madrasas as the base of their operations and recruitment.”

Clearly it is obvious that many radical Islamists are being churned out in radical madrasas and national governments must either regulate these schools or provide an alternative system. If not, they will become a continuing breeding ground for killers of non-Muslims and Muslims alike, after all, the Taliban and Islamic indoctrination came through these radical Islamic schools and they had no qualms in killing Shia Muslims and other so-called Islamic heretics.

Therefore, whoever controls the mosque or madrasas is in a powerful position. It must be mentioned that not all madrasas are involved in hate inspired indoctrination, however, many are out of control and you have a state within a state and of course Pakistan is paying for this now because they allowed this dangerous situation to happen in the first place.

In modern day Thailand you have the false reality of stability in many parts of this nation and tourists from all over the world visit for various factors. However, in Southern Thailand you have a dangerous Islamic insurgency which beheads Buddhists, kills teachers, kills Muslims who are deemed to be loyal to Thailand, and other innocents.

Zachary Abuza also commented that “While the government has recently pledged more development funds for the restive south, the insurgency has never been about development. Sadly, as long as the conflict remains confined to the southernmost provinces, it will remain a low priority for the government, consumed with elite political machinations in Bangkok. And while Southern Thailand remains the single most lethal conflict in Southeast Asia, it remains a low priority for America and its allies in the region.”

Sadly it does appear that Zachary Abuza is correct because this issue is neglected and since 2008 it is clear that this insurgency is growing once more because more attacks and killings have been reported.

Therefore, the war within Islam is continuing because Islamic radicals are killing Muslims and Islamic leaders who are deemed to be infidels because they do not support the ongoing slaughter of innocents. At the same time Buddhists are living in fear and many have been killed in extremely cruel ways and of course many have fled this carnage.

Sunai Phasuk, a political analyst at Human Rights Watch, commented that “Buddhist monks have been hacked to death, clubbed to death, bombed and burned to death.” Therefore, it is clear that this Sunni Islamic insurgency is following a familiar path and this applies to the destruction of all non-Muslim elements within society or the complete dhimmitude of all non-Muslims by the rule of fear.

The ongoing Islamic jihad in Southern Thailand could draw in other regional and global jihadists, and this could have dire consequences because you have Christian-Muslim tensions in parts of Indonesia and the Philippines. Also, if the Thai army is forced to retreat or adopt a containment policy then clearly Islamic jihadists will gain because they will have free areas in order to spread their dangerous ideology and cause further mayhem throughout the region.

At the same time the current Sunni Islamic insurgency hopes to cleanse the region of all Buddhists and to destroy Buddhist temples and architecture in yet another re-run of Afghanistan. Therefore, it is clear that the minority Buddhist community in Southern Thailand needs greater protection from radical Islamists.

If political leaders in Thailand betray the Buddhist minority then the consequences will be severe. Also, this part of Thailand could become yet another museum where Buddhism is eradicated by Islam?
